Sherpa

Sherpa Brand PageFounded in 2003 by Tashi Sherpa and his family to help the communities and people of Nepal, Sherpa is a small brand committed to making a big impact. They believe that to know is to grow, whether that’s by exploring new lands or opening your mind through learning. And that every child has a right to quality education. Every item you buy funds a school day for a child in Nepal, where only 57 percent of all children carry on their education after primary school.

Sherpa's donations benefit students by funding necessary teacher and staff members training, developing and distributing quality reading materials and building libraries and renovating classrooms.

Sherpa also contributes to sustainable employment in Nepal. Their skilled knitters work flexibly around family life to produce knitted hats, each taking several hours to make by hand.
