Hestra, a family business that was originally called Martin Magnusson & Co. founded in 1936 , that is now run by the third generation of Magnussons. Design and development is carried out at their headquarters in the town of Hestra in Sweden and the focus is to develop gloves that provide warmth, protection and fingertip sensitivity in the most varies conditions.
Hestra gloves are manufactured in their own factory and they personally buy all leather, cloth, wool and other materials. This gives Hestra a complete control of the entire production chain and ensures high quality at every stage. Several of Hestra models are handmade by some of the most experienced glove makers in Europe.
The forest, rivers and mountains around Hestra have been inspiring the company for the last 80 years. This is where they find many of their favourite materials, like durable leathers and warm wool.
